James Rivett
Chairman
James has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Even as a child he started his own snow shoveling business to pay for hockey. While attending University, James owned and operated his own landscaping company as well as becoming a franchise owner within the oil and gas industry. At the same time he earned his degree, he took his business from $300,000 a year to a company with over $4.2 million in revenue. James’ innovative and proven methods were adopted and expanded to a national level across the franchise.
With a proven track record in business success already under his belt, James graduated with a degree in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge in 2004. As a business owner himself, James recognized the need for successful marketing both online and offline. In 2006 he founded NetGains Marketing to fill the gap that existed in the marketplace, giving small and mid-sized businesses the marketing alternative they need to succeed.
With an acute understanding that innovative marketing techniques, combined with cutting edge technology and a creative approach will lead to measurable returns on marketing investment, James has built NetGains Marketing to be the leading online strategic consulting firm in the marketplace today. By building a team of quality professional that embraces the concept of constantly reinventing themselves to stay ahead of the curve, NetGains Marketing is able to give clients the greatest advantage in the online marketplace.
When James isn’t busy creating innovative online solutions, you can find him spending time with his wife and business partner, Stacey and their two young boys or tearing up the ice at the hockey rink.

Stacey Rivett
Executive VP/Site Analyst
Stacey has always been fascinated by human behavior and could often be found sitting in on a psychology class when she wasn’t attending business classes at the University of Calgary. After graduating with a degree in Commerce in 2003, Stacey turned her focus to client relationship management as a business owner herself. Over ten years, Stacey has developed a keen understanding consumer behavior and began to turn her attentions to websites and web design. A graduate of the Google Analytics Seminar for Success, Stacey has found her passion in understanding web analytics and implementing conversion strategies. Learning about the “rules” of successful web design, web analytics provides the one true insight into why a website is or isn’t achieving the results that a business requires and Stacey loves the challenge of working it out.
When she isn’t helping companies achieve the online results they need or reading industry blogs to stay in touch with new developments, Stacey is a busy mother of two young boys and enjoys preserving their lives and memories in scrapbooks.
